  The pilot which flew me and my partner Steve was fabulous. Our helicopter ride started when Merlinda Salas picked us up from our hotel L'Ermitage in Beverly Hills in the Orbic Air people carrier car. The service that Merlinda provided us was absolutely outstanding and was a highlight of our trip, we were discussing in the vehicle where we lived in England, and where we had been on holiday and even Politics.
  
  I would certainly recommmend Orbic Air to friends as they gave an all round truly memorable experience.

• Helicopter Tour Testimonial from Guest Ginnie D Thank you soooo much for a fabulous helicopter tour. I flew with my daughter Mary and your helicopter pilot Dave on April 18th. The trip was part of Yahoo’s Ultimate Surprise, and it certainly was!
  Not only was it my first helicopter ride, it was absolutely beautiful.
  Dave took us all over LA and up the coast to Malibu, ending at Saddlerock Ranch for an even bigger surprise. Mary’s engagement!
  Dave was so kind and knowledgeable about the whole area and showed us so many great spots. He was sure to point out anything of interest…..

  Choosing to complete my flight training with Orbic Air was one of the best decisions I have made. Having flown with instructors from other schools in Southern California, I was immediately impressed with the level of flight instruction Orbic provided. The instructors are experienced, knowledgeable, and very dedicated to helping students achieve their goals. Moreover, the entire staff is courteous and accommodating from the time you walk in the door, to the day you pass your FAA exam. If you are interested in learning how to fly, whether for pleasure or a career, look no further than Orbic Air. This is the way flight training should be.

  After visiting the various schools around the Los Angeles area, I was not very happy and then I was referred to Orbic and found my school of choice. Their well maintained aircraft, friendly staff and very professional instructors, made my decision to go to this school very easy. I took Orbic's ground class, and found it very helpful. The instructor starts off with the basics and teaches you everything you need to know from Private to Commercial ground instruction. I was very impressed with the instructors' knowledge, the upkeep of the school, and the personalized service that I got from everyone.

  I started my training with another school. When I made the switch to Orbic, I found them extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and personable. Instead of pointing to a diagram in a textbook, my instructor gave me hands-on, real-life experience. In addition to one-on-one instruction, I also found the group ground class to be really beneficial because I learned from others' questions and had the opportunity to explain things to other students. Orbic's emphasis on advanced instructor training and review helped me build confidence in my own ability to handle the challenges of flying safely in LA's complicated airspace.

  I started my helicopter flight training at another FBO. I already had a fixed wing license, but after about 8 hours of helicopter instruction, it became quite apparent that I was this instructor's first student. He couldn't answer most of my questions without looking up answers, and he was afraid to allow me to handle the controls much of the time. It became a frustrating, wasted process of instruction.

  When a friend saw how frustrated I was, he asked me why I wasn't training at Orbic Air. It was a whole difference experience. The instructor was so knowledgeable, such a good pilot and more importantly he was caliming and reassuring. I was hooked. I never went back to the other place. The difference was night and day. I felt like I was learning much more and much faster. The instructor was able to communicate so that things made sense to me. I understood why they were important and how they affected flight. He allowed me to learn from making little mistakes but knew just when to take control to stop me from getting into trouble. All the staff and instructors are very friendly, courteous, cheerful, help each other out and it's a pleasure to be at the well kept facility.

  Since becoming licensed a year ago, I remain a regular rental client at Orbic Air. Renting from them is a simple smooth process and easy to schedule on line. Their block time renatl rate is very competitive. If my friend hadn't turned me on to Orbic Air, I might have quit training out of frustration with the other FBO facility. That would have been too bad, because as challenging as it was, the freedom of flying helicopters is the most fun I've ever had.
